Hire a Tram
The Museum is able to cater to group booking for birthday parties for everyone not matter the age.

You have our Club Rooms at your disposal with kitchen facilities, tables and chairs.
​
As part of the package, you are welcome to ride our trams as many times as you wish through your visit. If your group would like to hire a separate tram, this can be negotiated, and is subject to crew availability.
​
We do require a 2 week minimum booking time on all bookings, and we recommended you come visit us on an operating day to see what we have on offer.

Weddings
Looking for that Unique and different venue to mark your special day with your friends and family?

Then look no further, the Wellington Tramway Museum can be used as a unique transport option for your guests to the beach for that stunning beach ceremony, or want to do some 'old fashioned' photos? We can provide a stunning nature backdrop, and a tram for you to take the photos of your special day!

We can even hold a small ceremony onboard one of our heritage trams, if you want to have intimate ceremony with your closest family and friends.

School Trips
As a Museum, which owns a large collections of Wellington Memorabilia, we are a great place for local schools to come and visit and learn about what city life was like when the trams were around the city.

Tour Groups
The museum is a fantastic place to put as a stop on your next tour!

We have a great tour package, aimed for up to 30 guests, with refreshment options available.
