The Wellington Tramway Museum Welcomes New Members

Museum members are proud of their efforts which, without doubt, have saved the trams from the scrap heap and given present and future generations the opportunity to see and experience this important aspect of past urban life.

If electric tramways interest you, you may wish to become a member of the Wellington Tramway Museum Inc. which operates the Kapiti Coast electric tramway here at Queen Elizabeth park.

Membership offers you the following:

A regular newsletter outlining the museum's activities
An opportunity to assist with tramway restoration
An opportunity to become a 'motorman' - tram driver
Opportunities to join in the museum's social activities
An opportunity to research New Zealand's tramway heritage
Access to journals catering for tramway interests in New Zealand and overseas

The museum holds work days during running days on Saturday and Sunday as well as essential maintenance and restoration on Wednesdays.
