Museum members are proud of
their efforts which, without doubt, have saved the trams from the scrap
heap and given present and future generations the opportunity to see and
experience this important aspect of past urban life.
If electric tramways interest you, you may wish to become a member of
the Wellington Tramway Museum Inc. which operates the Kapiti Coast electric
tramway here at Queen Elizabeth park.

The museum holds work days during running days on Saturday and Sunday as well as essential maintenance
and restoration on Wednesdays.
